Acappella

The Kosher Music Organization follows the ruling of Gedolei Haposkim that listening to recorded acappella during Sefira and the three weeks is still considered listening to music. The idea behind this is that they consider the tape itself (or cd/mp3, etc.) to be a musical instrument. As such, we have not labeled this category as "Sefira," rather as "Acappella."
